We were commissioned by the Government of Chile, in collaboration with Gaggero Works, to develop the commemorative identity under the motto “Democracy is memory and future,” centering the project on the creation of a custom typeface, Cincuenta.otf, inspired by Chilean political posters and built on the tension between sharp angles and curves to embody, through form, the complexity and contradictions of the country’s recent history.
